Arsenal are prepared to go higher for Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic ahead of the January market.

Sportmediaset says Arsenal are willing to increase their offer for Vlahovic to €80million (£68m).

Vlahovic, 21, is one of the most sought after forwards in the world, and has scored 13 goals in just 16 matches in Serie A this season.

As a result, he has attracted admiring glances from the likes of Juventus, Manchester United and Manchester City, while Arsenal are also in the race to sign him.

Mikel Arteta and Co are willing to pay up to the £68m price tag, which is an increase on their first offer, and are hoping to convince him to join.

It has been claimed recently, however, that Arsenal are struggling in their discussions with Vlahovic's entourage, who are said to not be returning any calls.
