Sergio Ramos and Lionel Messi have spent years battling it out on the pitch during their time at Real Madrid and Barcelona, but the pair are now teammates at Paris Saint-Germain.
The Spaniard and Argentine took to the pitch together for the first time on Saturday, as Ramos made his debut in PSG's 3-1 win at Saint-Etienne.
Ramos spoke after the match about having Messi in the side and how he's looking forward to the future.
"He's in good shape, and I think he's the kind of player who really makes a difference," Ramos told ESPN.
"He's a unique player and it's a privilege to have him in the team.
"I think that bit by bit, each of us is going to bring our own quality to make Paris Saint-Germain even greater and achieve the things we want to achieve."
The Spanish defender was also asked if he wants Messi to win this year's Ballon d'Or.
"Yes, of course I'm going to defend the guys in my team," Ramos said.
"I wish him all the luck in the world."
