Emily Atack is Jack Grealish’s ‘schoolboy crush’ dating back from her Inbetweeners days

Emily Atack is believed to be Jack Grealish's schoolboy crush from when she played Charlotte Hinchcliffe in Inbetweeners.

The actress has reportedly been getting close to the £100m Manchester City star in recent weeks.

After moving north, Grealish, 26 was introduced to Atack, 31, and since then they are said to have met at her home and a Manchester hotel.

It's claimed the pair have exchanged messages every day for the past six weeks, despite the footballer having been in an on/off relationship with childhood sweetheart Sasha Attwood for the past 10 years.

The Daily Mail claim Grealish is 'besotted' with Atack - and no wonder why.

He used to watch her in the classic coming of age sitcom portraying the raunchy Charlotte Hinchcliffe when he was just a teenage boy.

This is when he is said to have grown his initial crush on her.

Atack first appeared on television screens as Hinchcliffe in the initial Inbetweeners series in 2008, at which point Grealish would have been just 13 years old.

Two more series and then two films followed due to the show's huge success.

When The Inbetweeners 2 movie - the final installment of Will, Jay, Neil and Simon's journey - was released, the former Aston Villa captain was 19.

Since then, Atack has gone onto to finish second on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2018, while Grealish has emerged as a top Premier League and England star.

She is said to also be smitten with their newfound romance.

One source close to Atack told the Mail: "Jack is besotted with Emily... she really likes him too – otherwise, of course, she wouldn't have met up with him.

"She did also think he was single – it is what you expect if you see someone on a site looking for a girlfriend.

"Emily has really enjoyed his company recently, but she certainly isn't going to hang around if he stays with his girlfriend."

Grealish how faces an ultimatum with Attwood, who is reportedly 'devastated' at the news which she is understood to only have discovered on Friday.
