The Ronaldo family is set to expand to six in the coming months with the Man Utd star planning for the future

Ronaldo - already dad to four children - is busy making plans for the future.

A source told SunSport: "Cristiano has lived all over the world, but England has always held a special place in his heart.

"He loves the north west and is looking to find a permanent base which he can call home after he retires from the game."

The United superstar also has a number of commercial interests in the UK - including a major new hotel development which is being built in Manchester.

Our source added: "Cristiano still believes he has at least two or three more years left playing, but he always has one eye on the future."

In September, SunSport revealed Ronaldo wanted to retire at United - before coaching son Cristiano Jr at the club's academy.

Ronaldo and stunning partner Georgina, 27, showed off ultrasound pics of the unborn tots last week.

They will be Ronaldo's SECOND set of twins after having Eva and Mateo through surrogacy in 2017 - bringing his brood to six.

The couple wrote: "Delighted to announce we are expecting twins. Our hearts are full of love."

Ronaldo's mum, Dolores Aveiro, 66, posted: "Let my grandchildren be born healthy."

The all-time record international goalscorer - who got into a spot of bother on a team lunch this week - also showed off a snap of him with his four children in a pool.

Ronaldo and Georgina had daughter Alana Martina - their first child together - late in 2017.

He first became a dad to Cristiano Jr in 2010, but did not reveal the mum's name.
