New twist: Mauro Icardi stops following Wanda Nara and writes 'you come looking for forgiveness'

Wanda Nara and Mauro Icardi's soap opera isn't showing any signs of slowing down, following the Paris Saint-Germain forward's alleged affair with China Suarez. The love triangle keeps throwing out new developments and the married couple have come out with another overnight on Friday.

The PSG forward appeared to be in a position where he considered the matter settled, but he has set things off once more with a controversial Instagram post that he swiftly deleted, which has had consequences.

Posting a photo to his story of himself and Wanda cuddling in bed, Icardi wrote "when you're in single mood on Instagram but at night you come to ask for forgiveness".

"Where are we @wanda_icardi? It's not clear to me."

The Argentine footballer deleted the story immediately, before posting another story to say he was going to sleep.

Moments later, though, he had unfollowed Wanda. There is a chance, though, that his wife has now blocked him.

The pair of women exchanged words in midweek, with the player's wife saying that "life takes care of b**ches".

China Suarez then defended herself by penning an open letter, again on Instagram.
