Messi comes to PSG's rescue
He scored two goals in seven minutes to regain the lead

Paris Saint-Germain have Lionel Messi to thank for their 3-2 win against RB Leipzig in the third game of this year's Champions League group stage, as he struck twice in a seven-minute period to hand his team all three points.
Kylian Mbappe had initially given PSG the lead after just nine minutes, but Leipzig fought back and were able to grab an equaliser through Andre Silva in the 28th minute before Nordi Mukiele struck 12 minutes into the second half to turn the atmosphere at the Parc des Princes on its head. However, Messi scored 10 minutes later before converting a 74th-minute penalty, which proved to be the final goal of the game.
Overall, it was a disappointing display by PSG for much of the game, but their individual brilliance means that they were able to come away from the match with a victory. Leipzig played some excellent football at times and it was only the returning Keylor Navas that prevented them from scoring more goals on the night. Yet, as has often been the case on countless Champions League nights, Messi's team emerged victorious thanks to his brilliance.
Mbappe's penalty miss
Mbappe will feel relieved that Messi had already given PSG the lead when he was given the chance to score a penalty of his own in the fourth and final minute of second-half stoppage time, as the Frenchman fired his effort miles over the crossbar.
This result means that PSG remain top of Group A on seven points from their opening three games, with Manchester City in second on six points after their win against Club Brugge earlier in the day. PSG have two tricky fixtures in Ligue 1 - Le Classique against Marseille at the Velodrome before the visit of last year's champions, Lille - before they next face Leipzig on November 3 in Germany.
