Jordan Pickford's pre-match homework could be spotted during Everton 's game against West Ham at Goodison Park.
Pictures showed penalty notes stuck to his water bottle, in case he was called to action to save from the spot during Sunday's match.
The information showed stats on Mark Noble, Michail Antonio and Declan Rice, who are all regular takers for the Hammers.
This included where they have placed their previous penalties, the way the keeper had dove, and their success rates.
One of West Ham's most memorable recent penalties came against Manchester United at the London Stadium in September.
David Moyes' side were awarded a late opportunity to score an equaliser, with Noble coming off the bench to take the spot-kick.
Unfortunately, the 34-year-old was unable to convert with his first kick of the game, as David De Gea made the save.

In Sunday's game, Pickford's notes were not required, as he had no penalties to face.
Despite that, he was unable to keep out an Angelo Ogbonna header in the 74th minute, which proved to be the difference between the two sides, as West Ham returned to London as 0-1 winners.
Some fans took to Twitter to mock the England international's bottle tactic.
One wrote: "Where's the one that says, 'jump high when Antonio is about.'"
Another questioned: "Surely it's not that difficult to remember Noble and Antonio goes one way and Rice goes the other."

This isn't the first time Pickford has used this method, with it being seen before during some of his most heroic moments.
Similar notes could be seen during England's last-16 penalty shootout victory over Columbia at the 2018 World Cup.
He's also done it in further internationals, including the Euro 2020 final, where he stopped two spot kicks in the shootout, despite eventual defeat against Italy for Gareth Southgate's side.
