FOOTBALL ace Jarrod Bowen was spotted leaving Dani Dyer's home after staying overnight - and The Sun on Sunday can reveal the pair are dating.

The £18million West Ham winger struck up a friendship with Love Island star Dani, 25, earlier this year.

They have grown increasingly close in recent weeks and have spent more time together.

The match-up is understood to have the support of Dani's EastEnders dad Danny - a life-long Hammers fan - as well as mum Jo Mas.

Jarrod, 24, was snapped leaving Dani's Essex home last week clutching his wash bag and wearing a Lanvin hoodie. He was then seen driving off in his Mercedes.

Dani, wearing fitness gear, left the house shortly afterwards.

'LEAVING HER HEARTBREAK BEHIND'

Her jealous ex Sammy Kimmence - father to her son Santiago - was jailed for a £34,000 fraud in July.

A source close to Dani said: “She has been to hell and back in the last year and Jarrod has been a real support for her in recent weeks.

"They started spending time together as just friends but as time as gone on they have grown closer and seem to be getting on really well.

“Jarrod is really into his fitness and Dani has been getting into her workouts lately, so they have bonded over that as well as other interests.

“It is a very new relationship but it's lovely to see Dani beginning to move on and leaving all the heartache she's suffered behind her.

“Dani's parents, Danny and Jo, like Jarrod too, which is always really important for her.

“All they both want is to see her happy again. But the fact that Jarrod plays for Danny's beloved Hammers is always going to be a bonus for him.”

Last month, we revealed Dani had been left “furious, afraid and violated” after it emerged jailed ex Sammy Kimmence was stalking her.

The 25-year-old conman, who had posed as a financial adviser, asked friends to “keep an eye on” Dani while he was serving his three-and-a half-year sentence.

His twisted plot was exposed when he flew into a jealous rage after his pals told him they had seen Jarrod visiting her.

A source said Dani had found it “deeply disturbing”.

They went on: “All she wants to do is get on with her life. She is an independent, single woman.

“The thought that her everyday, innocent life is being monitored is of huge concern.”

Last night, a source added: “After everything that Dani has been through, this feels like a fresh start for her. And her friends and family couldn't be happier to see her with Jarrod.”

Dani first shot to fame in 2018 when she won Love Island with then-love interest Jack Fincham.

The pair were such a hit with fans of the ITV2 show that they won 78 per cent of the vote. But they split nine months later.

Dani had a cameo as a taxi-driver alongside dad Danny in EastEnders.

She recorded a Spotify agony aunt podcast with him called Sorted with the Dyers - and a second series will follow later this year.

Jarrod joined West Ham from Hull City in 2020 on a reported £60,000-a-week and quickly put himself on England boss Gareth Southgate's radar and just missed out on selection this week.

He has scored ten goals in 58 appearances and, although he has netted only once with one assist so far this season, he has been praised for his high-energy performances.

Manager David Moyes has called him the fittest player in the squad.

Danny - Mick Carter in the BBC soap - has been a Hammers supporter since first visiting their old Upton Park ground as a youngster.

He was so delighted when his team, now playing at The London Stadium, made it into the top four that it even seemed to overshadow Santiago's birth that week.

Following the 3-2 win over Crystal Palace, he wrote on Instagram: “I think I can safely say that having my first beautiful grandson was the second best thing to happen to me this week.

“Come on you f***ing Irons.”
