Travel agent embezzles 288,000 euros from Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo has been scammed out of approximately 288,000 euros by an employee of a travel agency.
The woman involved, who had been entrusted with come of Ronaldo's credit card details, carried out the crimes over a period of three years.
The report released by newspaper 'Jornal de Noticias' states that the sum was defrauded through 200 trips that the Portuguese star never actually took.
The Manchester United forward isn't the only one who has been stolen from, with his representative Jorge Mendes as well as fellow players Nani and Manuel Fernandes also being scammed.
The 53-year-old woman stole a total of 350 thousand euros and was sentenced in 2017 to four years of probation.
She is currently reimbursing her former boss with monthly payments for an undisclosed amount of money.
