Manchester City have withdrawn shirts and merchandise that included the name of defender Benjamin Mendy from their website after he was charged with four counts of rape and one count of sexual assault last month.
While the reigning Premier League champions currently offer the names of their first-team players on the back of replica kits, Mendy is no longer an option online.
Although it is not possible to search his name on the site, he does remain on their squad list, with a biography on his career before and after his £52million move from Monaco in 2017.
The 27-year-old has had a trial date set for his charges and will remain in custody until then.
The France international was denied bail last month and has since been remanded in HMP Altcourse in Liverpool.
Manchester City footballer Benjamin Mendy was at Chester crown court on Friday, September 9
No pleas were entered when he entered the dock at Chester Crown Court on Friday, with a further plea trial and preparation set for November 15.
The full trial is set for January 24, 2022, and is expected to last for around two-and-a-half weeks.
Premier League champions City suspended Mendy pending investigation after the allegations came to light.
In a statement, the club said: "Manchester City can confirm that following his being charged by police today, Benjamin Mendy has been suspended pending an investigation.
"The matter is subject to a legal process and the club is therefore unable to make further comment until that process is complete."
City were in action on Saturday and beat Leicester 1-0 at the King Power Stadium thanks to a second-half goal from Bernardo Silva.
