Real Madrid may have lost another 'galactico' this summer as Sergio Ramos joined Paris Saint Germain, but Los Blancos are plotting a new era at the Bernabeu.

Carlo Ancelotti signed David Alaba on a free earlier this summer, but their only other signing was Rennes star Eduardo Camavinga, who joined on Deadline Day.

Madrid were attempting to sign PSG's Kylian Mbappe and even saw a £189million offer rejected by the French side which would have been a world-record fee, but the 22-year-old has now been tipped to sign for free at the end of this season.

Mbappe could be joined by Paul Pogba and Erling Haaland, as Los Blancos look to get back to their very best.

Madrid is the dream move according to Mbappe, and the French star is free to talk to new clubs from as soon as January, which does pose a question as to why PSG didn't cash in on the 22-year-old.

Mbappe would undoubtedly be the new face of La Liga, and could spark the return of Madrid's 'galacticos' status, with international teammate Pogba potentially following, with his contract also up next summer.

The dream summer could be capped off with generational superstar Erling Haaland, who's £76m release clause comes into affect at the end of the current season, and the Norwegian could be the ideal long-term replacement for Karim Benzema.

All of Europe's elite will be chasing Haaland, and the current Dortmund star will have a rare luxury of choosing where he plays should he look to leave, but could make up a formidable attack in Madrid, with Mbappe and the already rising superstar Vinicius Junior.

Camavinga is also a name not to be underestimated, as the 18-year-old was on the radar of most clubs across Europe, and joins an already star-studded side that also boast Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard as attacking options, even before the potential arrivals next summer.

Should Madrid get the world-class trio, they would become one of the most feared in Europe, and Mbappe could be the one to get the ball rolling in the Spanish capital.
