Chelsea youngster Tino Anjorin is closing in on a loan switch to Lokomotiv Moscow, despite the summer transfer window closing in the majority of European countries on Tuesday
Chelsea youngster Tino Anjorin is reportedly set to join Lokomotiv Moscow on loan despite the transfer window drawing to a close.
The Blues offloaded a number of fringe players in the summer market, raising £110million through permanent sales while also sending 10 stars out on loan.
And despite several transfer windows across Europe slamming shut on Tuesday, reports suggest academy starlet Anjorin is still closing in on a loan switch to Russia - where the market remains open until September 7.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims the 19-year-old is on the verge of signing for Lokomotiv on a season-long loan deal after an agreement between all parties was sealed this week.

The Athletic are also reporting that the deal will include a £17million option-to-buy clause which can be triggered at the end of the loan, while Chelsea have negotiated a £34million buy-back clause should that come to fruition.
As well as heading out to Eastern Europe, Anjorin is also expected to put pen to paper on a new long-term contract at Stamford Bridge.

The teenage midfielder has been on Chelsea's books since 2008, joining their development centre programme at the age of seven.
After officially signing for the club at under-nine level and climbing through their youth ranks, he was handed his senior debut by former Blues boss Frank Lampard in a 7-1 EFL Cup win over Grimsby in September 2019.
Anjorin then made his Premier League debut six months later against Everton and has since been afforded a further three appearances in domestic and European cup competitions.
However, with competition for a place in midfield as tough as ever at Stamford Bridge, Thomas Tuchel has decided to send him out on loan in the 2021/22 campaign.

Tuchel added Atletico Madrid ace Saul Niguez to his ranks in the dying minutes of the English and Spanish summer transfer window, bringing the midfielder over on an initial loan deal which includes an option to buy next summer.
