Lille are interested in the Ivory Coast international - but only if Celik leaves.

Chelsea’s deal to sign Saul Niguez on loan from Atletico Madrid is now unlikely to happen, according to the Guardian.

A move to sign defender Jules Kounde is also set to collapse unless the London club meet Sevilla’s demands.

If those deals to not go through, then Callum Hudson-Odoi is unlikely to leave Stamford Bridge before the deadline despite interest from Borussia Dortmund.

Willian terminates Arsenal contract

Willian has left Arsenal after agreeing to terminate the remaining two years of his contract and is set to sign for boyhood club Corinthians.

The 33-year-old signed a three-year deal when he joined on a free transfer from Chelsea last summer. However, he struggled to make an impact at the Emirates, scoring just once in 38 appearances.

After holding talks about his future, the winger has agreed to forego the wages he was owed for the final two years of his contract and become a free agent.

Birmingham have signed Troy Deeney on a two-year contract.

It was announced earlier this evening that the 33-year-old had left Watford after 11 seasons at Vicarage Road.

Palace turn their attentions to Edouard

Crystal Palace are set to make a move for Celtic striker Odsonne Edouard after failing to agree a deal for Eddie Nketiah, reports the Athletic.

The Eagles have held talks with the Gunners over a deal for the 22-year-old but were unable to agree a fee, despite Arsenal reducing their asking price from £20 million (£17m/$24m) to £15m (£13m/$18m).

As a result they have now turned their attentions to Edouard, who is in the final year of his contract at the Scottish giants.

Bees make Vanderson move

Brentford have made a €15 million (£13m/$18m) bid for Gremio full-back Vanderson, Goal understands.

The Brazilian club turned down a loan offer from Milan for the 22-year-old last week, with Gremio president Romildo Bolzan saying he would not consider selling Vanderson until the end of the year.

However, if the two clubs can agree a fee there is optimism a deal can be done before Tuesday's deadline.

Man City to resist loan interest in McAtee

Manchester City want youngster James McAtee to stay with the first-team squad despite loan interest from a number of clubs, according to the Daily Mail.

Brentford and Swansea are among the sides to have enquired about taking the 18-year-old playmaker, who previously played for Manchester United's academy, on a season-long loan.

However, City feel the teenager would benefit more from learning from the senior players and coach Pep Guardiola at this stage of his development.

Reading sign Drinkwater

Championship side Reading have signed midfielder Danny Drinkwater on loan from Chelsea.

Mbappe to stay at PSG as Real pull out of negotiations

Paris Saint-Germain's Kylian Mbappe will not join Real Madrid this summer after the latter pulled out of negotiations to sign the young striker, Goal has learned.

Having originally been confident that a deal could be reached, the Spanish side would not concede to PSG's demands for a fee of €200 million.

As things stand, Mbappe will now see out the remainder of his contract - which expires at the end of the season - in Paris, where he will line up alongside Lionel Messi and Neymar.

Man Utd happy for Lingard to stay

England international set to fight for his place at Old Trafford

Manchester United are happy for Jesse Lingard to stay and fight for his place this season, reports Sky Sports.

The 28-year-old enjoyed a fruitful spell on loan at West Ham last campaign after leaving Old Trafford in search of regular first-team football in January.

The 33-year-old will join his hometown club on a free transfer after agreeing a severance deal with the Hornets, who have confirmed his departure.

Bayern Munich confirm Sabitzer transfer

Bayern Munich have completed the long-awaited transfer of Marcel Sabitzer, signing the Austrian international midfielder from Bundesliga rivals RB Leipzig.

Willian to tear up Arsenal contract and sign for Corinthians (ESPN)

Brazil winger hoping to secure move back to hometown club before deadline

Willian is set to tear up the remaining two years of his Arsenal contract and re-join Brazilian side Corinthians on a free transfer, reports ESPN.

The 33-year-old signed a three-year deal when he joined the Gunners on a free transfer from Chelsea last summer but failed to make an impact, scoring just once in 37 appearances.

The club initially struggled to find a buyer for the winger but by agreeing to terminate his contract the player has helped speed up a return to his boyhood club, with a deal set to be confirmed before Tuesday's transfer deadline.

Cagliari, Rayo Vallecano, Almeria, Freiburg, Fenerbahce and Anderlecht are the clubs in the hunt for Manaj.

Mallorca announce Kang-in signing

NXGN star Lee Kang-in has signed with La Liga side Mallorca following his release by Valencia, the Spanish club have confirmed.

Juve decide against re-signing Pjanic

Juventus have decided against offering Barcelona midfielder Miralem Pjanic a potential return to Turin as they close in on the signing of PSV starlet Mohamed Ihattaren, Goal can confirm.

Pjanic moved to Barca from Juve in an exchange deal involving Arthur last summer, committing to a four-year contract at Camp Nou.

The Bosnian midfielder has since struggled to live up to expectations with the Blaugrana, and Goal has reported he is one of several first-team players the club are trying to offload before the August 31 transfer deadline.
