UK rapper Stormzy shocked fans at Leeds Festival on Saturday night by introducing close pal and Manchester City star Jack Grealish on stage in front of thousands in attendance.

The music artist, real name Michael Ebenezer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr, has enjoyed a good relationship with the England attacker in recent years.

Stormzy has been seen wearing football shirts with Grealish's name on the back in the past and has even included the footballer in his lyrics.

Shouting him out on a remix of the Yaw Tog track ‘Sore’, which Grealish appeared in the video for, Stormzy raps: “Slide in the middle like Grealish, My next hit’s bigger than my previous."

And during a brief interval between songs at Leeds, Grealish was welcomed on stage alongside well-known YouTuber 'Chunkz' to give his pal a hug.

Shocked fans in the crowd recorded the encounter, which soon went viral on social media.

"Jack Grealish thrashed Arsenal this morning and came on stage with Stormzy this evening, that man's thighs work so hard," joked one fan.

Just hours before his cameo at Leeds fest, Grealish was in Manchester helping his team inflict a humiliating defeat on Premier League rivals Arsenal.

The ex-Aston Villa man helped himself to an assist during the 5-0 rout, setting up Gabriel Jesus for the third goal of the game.
