Manchester City have announced that John Stones has renewed his contract with the club in a deal which will expire in 2026.
The defender's previous contract was set to expire at the end of next season but the Citizens have now secured his long-term future at the club.
Stones, 27, arrived at the Etihad in Pep Guardiola's first season and has since played 168 games, winning everything there is to be won in English football.
"I couldn't be happier, I love being part of this squad," said Stones when the deal was announced.
"There are so many quality players here and I know we can continue winning trophies, which is my main focus.
"Working with the manager is a dream - he has taught me so much about the game and I feel like I learn something new every single day."
If the England international sees out his new five-year contract, he will have been a Manchester City player for a decade.
