Barcelona great Messi not rushing PSG decision

Released Barcelona star Lionel Messi is taking time over PSG's contract offer.

Marca says the Argentine is yet to make a definitive decision on where his next move will be.

While everyone in the French capital is awaiting the player's arrival, Messi is at home in Castelldefels still thinking things through, calmly looking over everything before deciding on his fate. All parties, though, believe that they are into the most decisive hours of the discussions and that things could be finalised soon.

Messi was presented with a formal offer from PSG on Sunday, but he is still to give the thumbs up to the move.

In the last few hours, other big European clubs have come knocking on his door, but everything now suggests that those offers have come too late and that Messi is more likely to reunite with Neymar at the Parc des Princes.
