Sevilla and Atletico Madrid are interested in Olympics star Rafa Mir

It has been a good summer for Rafa Mir. The forward has impressed in each of his outings at the Olympic Games in Tokyo and his performances culminated in a hat-trick from the bench as La Roja booked their place in the semi-finals by beating Ivory Coast last time out.

Immediately after coming on, Rafa Mir scored a stoppage time equaliser to force extra time, before scoring twice in the additional 30 minutes to help Spain through.

Every time he has played in Tokyo, the forward has given opposing defenders problems and it's because of him that Spain are in a position to battle for a medal this summer.

Now, with the transfer window in full swing, Rafa Mir is catching the eye of a lot of LaLiga Santander clubs. Having impressed on loan with Huesca last season, he's returned to Wolves with just a year left on his contract, but he has no plans to stay there.

At 23 and with 16 goals behind him from last season, Rafa Mir has found himself on Sevilla and Atletico Madrid's radars. Both clubs are keen and both have projects that could tempt the striker.

His quarter-final hat-trick increased interest a little, so he might well return to Spain with a gold medal around his neck and a new contract under his arm.
