Barcelona Romagnoli interest sets up AC Milan swap talks

AC Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli is being linked with Barcelona.
Sport says Romagnoli has been on the market for a while. The left footed Milan centre back, with a year left on his deal, does not want to renew, so they want to sell him this summer whatever happens.
In Italy they say Barca are best placed to bring him in and they are looking for something that works economically for both clubs. Milan are interested in Miralem Pjanic and Philippe Coutinho but cannot pay anything and the players won't lower their salary.
Romagnoli would fit Barca perfectly as a left footer who can also play at left back.
