Barcelona are eyeing up a move for Swansea flop Renato Sanches following his impressive Euro 2020 campaign with Portugal - despite their crippling financial situation this summer.
Sanches has gained plenty of admirers after putting in a series of strong displays at the major tournament, although he was unable to prevent Portugal from crashing out at the last-16 stage against Belgium.
A host of clubs are said to be considering signing the Lille midfielder this summer, and it seems Barca are the latest to register their interest.
According to AS, the Catalans may need to pursue an initial loan deal for Sanches given their current financial turmoil.

Barca chiefs desperately need to offload players and slash their wage bill to avoid breaching the strict LaLiga salary cap, having mismanaged their way into a financial crisis.
It is believed they are looking to sell a number of first-team stars, with Antoine Griezmann rumoured to be on the verge of a return to Atletico Madrid.
Barca will only be able to register the four new signings they have already made this summer - Emerson Royal, Memphis Depay, Sergio Aguero and Eric Garcia - and renew Lionel Messi's expired contract when they go back under the limit.
There is hope at the Nou Camp that they will be able to eventually register players again by the end of the summer, which would allow them to make a beeline for Sanches.
Catalans boss Ronald Koeman reportedly wants to add a 'dynamic' midfielder to his ranks ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
Sanches is said to be at the top of his summer wish list, although Lille's £30million asking price could prove a potential stumbling block in negotiations.
The Spanish club could therefore target an initial loan deal which includes an option to buy him outright next summer.
Sanches has got his career back on track after a disappointing loan spell with Swansea in the 2017/18 campaign, spending one season back at Bayern Munich before becoming a key player for Lille - who won the French title last term.
