An England fan who was gifted a shirt by Mason Mount in the Euro 2020 semi-final broke down in tears again on This Morning.

Belle McNally went viral when a video captured her receiving the Chelsea midfielder’s shirt following the 2-1 win against Denmark to reach the final against Italy on July 11.

Crying tears of joy, the 10-year-old was viewed over 5million times within a couple of hours, retweeted 11.5k times and received an incredible 65.7k likes.

And it has seen the child make an appearance on This Morning with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, where she received a special surprise.

They aired a video message from Mount himself, saying: “Hi Belle, it’s Mason here!

“I just want to do this message to you and say how special your reaction was after the game when I gave you my shirt.

“We won the game and that was a big achievement but that really topped it off for me and made it a special night for me.

“Thank you for all your support - it really means a lot and hopefully see you Sunday!”

Belle, holding the England top she was gifted by the Chelsea star while wearing her own, has her eyes wide open and a hand covering her mouth in surprise at the message.

When asked by Willoughby and Schofield how she felt, all the 10-year-old could do was fall into her dad’s arms and break down in happy tears.

The parent said in response to the message: “Thank you so much to Mason for that. We can’t put into words what he’s done for her. Thank you - such a nice man!”

But Belle may not be able to get to Wembley for the final - the Three Lions’ first at a major tournament in 55 years, the last being the victorious 1966 World Cup.

Her dad said: “I’ve got three children, so it’s not Belle’s turn. It’s the youngest’s turn, so unfortunately she won’t be able to go.”

Before the match on Friday, Belle told ITV News that she had "bunked off school" to attend the match.

She told the broadcaster she was "11 out of 10 excited" for the match and predicted a 3-0 win for England.

The 10-year-old wrote on social media the day after the match: "Had the best day ever at Wembley. Thank you Mason Mount."

Belle, whose own shirt also had the number 10. on the back - the same as Mount's - is a child model who has posed for high-profile brands such as Burberry.
