Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar was left limping after being slide tackled by a fan while getting off a bus with the Brazil national side - with one managing to rip the shoe off his foot

Paris Saint-Germain megastar Neymar was left limping after an unfortunate incident getting off the Brazilian team coach on Friday.

Brazil players were met by their adoring fans on Friday as they arrived at the team hotel prior to their World Cup qualifier against Ecuador.

Neymar, the biggest star in the team, was met with the loudest screams of all, though two youngsters took things a step further.

The young supporters crept past the security barrier before sprinting over to their hero, but that's where things took a turn for the worse.

The two fans slipped on the floor, with one of them sliding into Neymar's shins.

The PSG star doubled over and was nearly dropped to the floor, with the three fans still clinging onto his shirt.

Security then intervened, while Neymar hobbled off, appearing to be limping.

The incident sparked fears the forward had suffered an injury.

Neymar also had one of his shoes ripped off his foot during the incident.

The Brazil Football Federation is yet to confirm whether he will take part in the Ecuador game.

There's been somewhat of a radio silence coming from the team recently, with reports suggesting they're set to withdraw from the Copa America.

The tournament venue was switched at the last minute due to rising Coronavirus cases in Argentina, and will now be held in Brazil.

However, numerous players from the Selecao are said to be unhappy with the prospect of playing in the tournament on home turf.

Brazil head coach Tete confirmed earlier in the week that players had voiced their concerns to him over the plans.
