Chelsea have been linked with a move for ex-player Romelu Lukaku in recent months, but the Belgium striker insists he will not be leaving Inter Milan this summer
Romelu Lukaku insists he has no intention of leaving Inter Milan this summer - coming as a major blow to potential suitors Chelsea.
Recent reports have suggested the Blues are interested in re-signing Lukaku seven years after he departed Stamford Bridge on a permanent basis.
The Belgium striker has just enjoyed a superb season over in Italy, scoring 30 goals in 44 appearances and helping Inter clinch their first Serie A title in 11 years.
That impressive goalscoring form is said to have caught Chelsea's eye, with owner Roman Abramovich reportedly setting his sights on luring him back to west London.

However, the European champions have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Lukaku, who says he will be staying put in Milan this summer.
During an appearance on Belgian television station VTM's the 'DevilTime' show, the former Manchester United frontman said: “Yes, I am staying. I've already had contact with the man who normally becomes our new manager.

"Maybe I shouldn't say that yet... It was a very positive conversation.
"There's also the challenge of doing it again (winning the league). I feel good at Inter."
Lukaku is set to work under a new manager at Inter next season following Antonio Conte's shock departure just weeks after guiding them to the title.

Reports suggest Simone Inzaghi will replace him at the San Siro, having left his post as Lazio manager at the end of last month.
On Conte, Lukaku added: “The heights I have reached as a player are thanks to him. He repeats a lot, repeats tactical exercises. In the beginning it was mostly individual, lots of videos to get tactically better.
He was also full of praise for departing boss Antonio Conte
"He was always constructive in his criticism. Not killing me off to kill me off, but killing me to make me better. If you do that every day, for a player like me, who is super focused on football, I could only get a better player.
"When I heard he was going to leave, it was difficult because we have such a hungry group and guys who really work for the team. And then the cycle was suddenly stopped.”
