OLIVIER GIROUD announced his new TikTok account in style by sharing a clip of a world-class training ground goal.
The Chelsea striker, 34, teased fans over a 'new social media account' in a hopelessly-contrived conversation with the Blues' official Twitter account.
Giroud had tweeted: "Hey @chelseafc admin can you send me a video of that goal I scored at Cobham last week? I want to share it. Thanks!"
Chelsea replied: "Check your DMs, we'll send it over. You know where we think it would look really good though…"
Giroud quickly hit back: "Sorted. Let's see if the audience can find my new social media account now!"
And eagle-eyed fans quickly noticed Giroud - an unused substitute in the Champions League final win over Man City on Saturday - had started a TikTok account and started his video-sharing career with a bang.
After stumbling across the brand new page, fans were greeted by Giroud's bio, which read: "Well done, you've found me, welcome on my TikTok."
Giroud had already posted a single video to his channel by the time his followers had found him.
In the clip, the striker welcomes fans to his page, shows off a sensational, volleyed scorpion kick from all of 20 yards and then signs off with another quick message.
Giroud said: "Congrats! You've found me. Here's a gift for you..."
After the video of his outrageous training ground goal, he added: "Not bad for a first post right?
"Welcome to my official TikTok channel... subscribe because we will share a lot of things this summer."
Giroud has been named in the France squad for Euro 2020 and is being tipped for a Stamford Bridge exit.
Fans will no doubt now be keeping an eye out for any clues on his future and behind-the-scenes looks at France training on TikTok.
