Manchester United captain Harry Maguire was given a two-page letter written by Sir Alex Ferguson during an interview with United icon Gary Neville.
The pair spoke at length on Neville's Sky Sports feature The Overlap, discussing everything from the failed European Super League to how close he came to joining United's fierce rivals Manchester City
Maguire has enjoyed a stellar season which saw United finish second in the Premier League, as well as having one more game to play - coming in the form of the Europa League final against Unai Emery's Villarreal.
The pair sat down and discussed a number of topics, before Neville handed Maguire a souvenir every United fan would dream of
Before the pair's discussion ended with Neville handing him the letter from United's greatest ever manager, Sir Alex's name came up in conversation when talking on-pitch matters.
Neville reminisced over his time playing under the Scot, explaining: "In terms of concentration, it was one of the words Sir Alex used most with us, as defenders."
When Maguire was asked on how he has improved his own concentration while wearing the United armband, he claimed: "It's funny that you say that about Sir Alex because I saw him a couple of weeks ago, and I was with Luke Shaw speaking to him about it.
"He was asking Luke about how well he has progressed this season, he said the main thing that has progressed for you is concentration.
"As he was leaving, he left, he said goodbye and then he turned round and went to me and Luke, 'concentration' and walked off."
Both Maguire and Shaw have been two of United's most standout performers this season, though there may be some late heartache for the former.
Maguire is unlikely to feature in United's Europa League final clash on Wednesday after sustaining an ankle ligament injury, despite manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer confirming he will travel to Gdansk.
Speaking before United's last game of the league season at Wolves, Solskjaer said: "He's still walking very gingerly. He's travelling [to Gdansk] of course."
It will be a race against the clock for Maguire, with his boss revealing: "I'll give him until Wednesday afternoon on that one, but I don't have high hopes."
