Yet another high-profile tactician has, on Monday, been named as a managerial target on the part of Premier League outfit Tottenham.
Mou dismissed
Amid the widespread turmoil surrounding all matters Super League-related, one story slipped somewhat under the radar in England last month.
This of course came in the form of Tottenham's decision to part ways with Jose Mourinho.
On the back of yet another damaging pair of points dropped at Everton, the board in north London came to the decision that the Portuguese no longer represented the right man to lead them forward.
In turn, an official statement regarding the matter was released on Monday, April 19th:

Flick eyed
Mourinho, for his part, has since swiftly found a new job, having agreed to take up the reins at AS Roma from the beginning of next season.
In north London, though, question marks surrounding the bench remain.
Ryan Mason has of course been installed on an interim basis for the remainder of the campaign. The ex-midfielder's chances of securing the job on a permanent basis, though, look slim.
In turn, ahead of the 2021/22 campaign, Daniel Levy and co. are expected to target another high-profile tactician, to lead a concerted push towards establishing the club as a permanent member of the Premier League's top-4.
To this point, the likes of Brendan Rodgers, Julian Nagelsmann, Steven Gerrard and even ex-boss Mauricio Pochettino have been touted as potential arrivals on the bench in the capital.

And, as outlined above, on Monday, yet another name has been added to the ever-lengthening list of coaches reportedly being considered by Tottenham.
The individual in question? Hansi Flick.
German Flick of course only recently announced his decision to depart Bayern Munich, on the back of a short but trophy-laden spell with the Bavarians.
The 2019/20 campaign saw the ex Koln midfielder guide Bayern to a historic treble, with another Bundesliga title having since been secured this time around.
And such exploits, in turn, now appear to have piqued the interest of Daniel Levy.
As per a report from the Telegraph, the Tottenham hierarchy are eyeing an established tactician whose most recent season has proven a success, with Flick seemingly fitting the bill.
A deal actually coming to fruition remains a long shot, though, with the 56-year-old widely expected to take over from Jogi Low on the Germany bench following this summer's European Championships.
