Guedes' Valencia stint
Goncalo Guedes made his move to Valencia permanent in 2018, after impressing on loan with the Spanish club.
Los Che signed Guedes from PSG for a fee believed to be around £36m.
The Portuguese hardly featured for the Ligue 1 powerhouse, notching just 13 appearances in all competitions, across which he failed to score a single goal.
Guedes has since established himself as a key figure for Valencia, however, en route to 127 appearances for the La Liga outfit.
The 24-year-old is a left-winger by trade, but is also more than capable of playing through the middle, or on the opposite flank.
Guedes, though, isn't exactly prolific for an attacker. In 22 La Liga outings this season, for example, the Portuguese has scored just two goals, and provided three assists.
Wolves eyeing Valencia forward Goncalo Guedes
But, despite his fairly unimpressive goal return, the 22-time capped international nevertheless appears to be attracting interest from the Premier League.
In news that will come as a shock to none, Guedes – who is Portuguese and a client of Jorge Mendes – has been linked with a move to Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Wolves have a plethora of Portuguese talent already on their books, with Mendes the representative of several.
And now, it appears as though the super agent is working towards getting another of his clients onto Wolves' books.
According to Football Insider, Nuno Espirito Santo and co. are ready to step up their interest in Guedes.
It is suggested that the Midlands-based outfit are readying a summer swoop, and weighing up offering Patrick Cutrone in part-exchange for the Valencia forward.
