Lautaro Martinez is still Chelsea's signing target, according to ESPN's news.
Lautaro was rumored to be likely to join Barcelona last summer, but in the end he still stayed at Inter Milan.
Lautaro's performance in Serie A this season is still outstanding, and he has been rumored to be close to renewal.
However, Inter Milan has not officially announced Lautaro to renew. Now reports claim that Chelsea sees the Argentine international as an alternative to Haaland.
Lautaro also had scandals with Manchester United and Manchester City before. He joined Inter Milan from Racing Club in 2018.
As the future of Giroud and Abraham is still unknown, Chelsea seems to have to bring in at least one striker.
