Messi's message of condolences after Ronaldinho loses his mother

It was announced this Sunday that Ronaldinho's mother Dona Miguelina has died from coronavirus complicates at the age of 71.

Saddened by the news, Lionel Messi shared a message of condolences on social media, supporting his former teammate.

"Ronnie, I have no words and I can't believe it," Messi's message started.

"I just want to send you lots of strength and a big hug for you and all your family.

"I'm sorry for your loss. May she rest in peace."

Several of the clubs where Ronaldinho played have also posted messages on social media, expressing support for the Brazilian.
