Toffees want Kean stay
Speaking on the Here We Go Podcast, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has opened up the future of Moise Kean, who has been in fine form during a loan spell at PSG so far this season.
Romano said of the recently turned 21-year-old:
"Everton will fight for Kean, or receive €60 or €70 million or keep the player. "Ancelotti is a big fan of Moise Kean. In my opinion, they are planning for him as the star for next season."
Kean joined Everton on a five-year deal from Juventus in August of 2019, for an initial fee of £25.1 million, rising to £27.5 million. However, his first season didn't go to plan, as the striker struggled to make an impact, taking until January to score his first goal en route to just two in 31 games.
His loan to PSG has since reinvigorated Kean, though, and he has managed 14 goals in 21 games this time around, including one against Barcelona in the Champions League this week.
The Italian is now looking like the player Everton thought they were signing in the first place, but there may be demand for him in the summer if his fine form continues.
Juve return could be an option
Whilst the player is very much Everton's, and Ancelotti is seemingly a fan, though, the Toffees may be faced with a dilemma if Kean should seek a move elsewhere.
Due to his age, the youngster's best years are likely to be ahead of him. It is also worth noting, though, that Kean struggled in the Premier League, and an argument could be made that he is playing in a less competitive league this season.
With his value rising, Everton may be tempted to cash in on the young Italian international, especially if PSG decide they want to keep him, or Juventus enter the bidding for their former starlet.
The Blues will have a major decision to make come the summer.
