Tottenham willing to slap down '£32million offer' for sensational Christian Eriksen return

Inter Milan's chief executive Giuseppe Marotta announced earlier this month that the club have put Christian Eriksen up for sale and the Danish playmaker has now been linked with a sensational return to Tottenham Hotspur. Eriksen spent six-and-a-half seasons at Spurs before joining Inter in January.
However, the move has not worked out for the 28-year-old, who has started just 12 Serie A games since joining the club and fallen out of favour with manager Antonio Conte.
"We've been very clear many times that there are players on the so-called transfer list," Marotta told Sky Italy in December.
"These are players who want to play more regularly, and the club is ready to make them happy and find replacements.
"Eriksen is on the transfer list, Piero Ausilio confirmed as much.

"He has struggled to settle into the squad, he is not functional to the squad.
"That is not any insult towards his professionalism, there is no punishment.
"It's just a situation that has developed and it's only fair he goes where he can play more regularly."
Arsenal have been linked with Eriksen, while PSG have been installed as the favourites to sign him with former Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino expected to take over after Thomas Tuchel was sacked on Christmas Eve.
However, Tottenham have been linked with a sensational move for the midfielder, with Calciomercato citing a report from Spanish outlet Don Balon which claims a Spurs return would be Eriksen's 'preferred option'.
The report adds that Spurs would be willing to pay €35m (£32m) to secure his signature and claims that manager Jose Mourinho wants Eriksen to join.
Eriksen has previously praised Mourinho for the way he handled the situation surrounding the player's departure.
He told BBC Sport in February: "When the window is not open, there can only be talk.
"There cannot be anything concrete. I think Mourinho did well.
"He could have said 'he wants to leave, so he is not going to play any more'. He didn't do that.
"After I told him where my feelings were and what I would like to do, he told me just to be happy and if I was needed I would play.
"I was needed in a few games where I did make a difference. It was more as an extra rather than in the starting XI of course."
