Jackson Martinez retires from football

Jackson Martinez has retired from football at 34 years old.
The forward has been without a club since leaving Portimonense de Portugal, where he scored just 12 goals in two seasons and now he has decided to hang up his boots.
"The time to retire has arrived," Santy Martinez, said on Munera Eastman Radio. "He gave us so many joys, he achieved his dreams with discipline and professionalism.
"An idol, thank you very much, Jackson Martinez."
The former Atletico Madrid striker made over 300 professional appearances, with his best days coming at Porto.
