Manchester United have been told they will need to cough up a huge fee for Rennes wonderkid Eduardo Camavinga.

The 18-year-old is one of the hottest properties in the world right now after bursting onto the scene in Ligue 1.

Real Madrid, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, as well as United, have been linked with moves for the teenager.

Camavinga is currently tied down to a contract until 2022, and Rennes are desperate to keep hold of their man.

So according to Spanish publication Marca, interested parties will have to cough up ‘at least £62m’ to open negotiations for the midfielder.

Despite being linked with some of the biggest clubs in the world, Camavinga insisted that he was keen to stay on at Rennes instead.

“I see, I hear things. It is nice to hear everything that is said but those things are not going distract him,” said the France international. “I know how to differentiate different things.

“I’m at Rennes and the other clubs is not a topic for now. We will see later.

“Now I go out a lot less, I hide a little more. Life outside of sports has changed and the rivals in the field they also see me differently than a year and half ago.

“You don’t have to look so much at what is around you and you have to concentrate on what is essential.

“I have two years left on my contract and there is time to talk about it. There will be negotiations to renew, this is my training club and I would like to stay here.”

Camavinga became France’s youngest player in over 100 years when he made his senior debut against Croatia during the international break.
