Arsenal exploring prospect of meeting buyout clause for RB Salzburg midfielder Szoboszlai

Arsenal are busily working on a January deal for RB Salzburg midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai.

The Mirror says Arsenal are exploring ways to structure a deal for highly-rated midfielder Szoboszlai, who has a £23million release clause at RB Salzburg.

Szoboszlai, 20, has already racked up 22 goals in 74 appearances for the Austrian side, helping them to three league titles and two Austrian Cups.

The Hungary international has caught the attention of European giants after he was named Austrian Bundesliga Player of the Season last campaign.

Szoboszlai has also started this term strongly, with five goals and nine assists in 13 appearances in all competitions.

Chief among the attacking midfielder's suitors are the Gunners, who are exploring means of financing a deal.
