Chelsea are keeping close tabs on Paulo Dybala’s contractual situation at Juventus after identifying the Argentina star as a potential transfer target, according to reports in Italy.
Dybala, 26, has fallen out of favour in Turin this season, failing to make a single appearance under new manager Andrea Pirlo.
It is believed the Italian club would be prepared to listen to offers for him in the summer transfer window, with the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham circling in the past.
In the end the forward chose to stay and fight for his place at Juve, despite reportedly being deemed surplus to requirements by Pirlo, and that decision doesn’t look to have served him well.

And with just two years remaining on his current deal, Italian outlet Tutto Mercato Web claim Chelsea are eyeing up a potential move for Dybala.
The Blues are understood to be monitoring his situation closely and will consider tabling an offer if it fails to improve in the near future.
Dybala is currently locked in talks with Juve chiefs over an extension, but if Pirlo continues to snub the player he could become available in the January transfer window.
Chelsea are keen to take advantage of his precarious situation and lure him to Stamford Bridge at the turn of the year, despite spending over £200million on new recruits this summer.
Frank Lampard’s squad was bolstered with an array of world-class talent in the latest window, including £72million playmaker Kai Havertz and £54million striker Timo Werner.
Hakim Ziyech also arrived in a £36million switch from Ajax, while Ben Chilwell (£50million) and Edouard Mendy (£22million) also joined in respective moves from Leicester and Rennes.
The Blues even managed to snap up Thiago Silva on a free transfer following his departure from Paris St-Germain earlier this summer.
Dybala would be another impressive addition to Lampard’s squad if Chelsea manage to prise him away from Turin, with the player registering 95 goals and 38 assists in 228 appearances for Juve.
