Portsmouth will be without Alex Bass for as they prepare for their Sky Bet League One season opener against Shrewsbury.
The goalkeeper picked up an ankle during the penalty shootout victory at Stevenage in the Carabao Cup on August 28.
Craig MacGillivray is expected to replace Bass between the posts, as he did on Tuesday night’s 2-0 win over Colchester in the EFL Trophy.
Apart from Bass, Kenny Jackett has a full squad to choose from.
Shrewsbury boss Sam Ricketts hopes to have a full squad available for his side’s trip to the south coast.
Ollie Norburn, Aaron Pierre and Daniel Udoh have minor injuries that could rule them out.
Josh Vela will be available again following his one-match suspension carried over from last season for his red card in the final match against Oxford and could play his first game of the campaign.
Shrewsbury’s five summer signings could be in line for their league debuts.
