Michael Appleton without Joe Walsh for Lincoln’s clash with Oxford

Lincoln manager Michael Appleton is without Joe Walsh when his side start their Sky Bet League One campaign against Oxford on Saturday.
Defender Walsh, a summer signing from MK Dons, has been ruled out with a thigh strain.
Experienced midfielder Liam Bridcutt has a chance of being involved as he continues to recover from a hamstring problem.
On-loan West Brom goalkeeper Alex Palmer has already started the Imps’ first two matches of the season and looks likely to continue against last season’s play-off final runners-up.
Oxford manager Karl Robinson, who put pen to paper on a new four-year deal on Wednesday, will be without Jamie Hanson.
Midfielder Hanson sustained a calf injury and will be ruled out for three to four weeks.
Alex Gorrin picked up a knock during his side’s Carabao Cup win over AFC Wimbledon and it remains to be seen whether the midfielder will recover in time.
Robinson will be hoping for a good start to the season after his side fell just short of promotion in the play-off final, losing 2-1 to Wycombe.
