Angers defender Rayan Ait Nouri is interesting Barcelona.
L'Equipe says Eric Abidal, who recently resigned as Barcelona sporting director, had made contact with Ait Nouri's representatives.
In addition, the French newspaper reports that the player has visited Real Madrid's Valdebebas facilities.
Barcelona got in touch with his agent, Jorge Mendes, a few weeks ago, but they have not yet had formal conversations with Angers.
Any move for Ait Nouri will not be easy for the Catalan club, however, as he is valued at 30 million euros.
