Lampard also fought tooth and nail to take his side to the FA Cup final - whihc they lost at the hands of Arsenal.
Chelsea also made it to the last-16 of the Champions League, only to be torn to shreds by a rampant Bayern Munich.
But after what chairman Bruce Buck called a "very successful" season, Lampard took his wife and kids to France for a well-earned break.
Lampard has three kids - with Luna, 14, and Isla, 13, coming from his first marriage to Elen Rivas.
The Chelsea boss and Loose Women star Christine, 41, have one child together - one-year-old Patricia.
And all three kids jetted off to the Hotel du Cap Eden Roc in Antibes to soak up some much-needed rays.
The family looked in great mood as they took a dip in the ocean off the Cote d'Azur.
Lampard even launched himself off a diving board and into the sea as Christine watched on in a white sundress.

And the Blues boss has every reason to be happy, too - with the relief of knowing chairman Buck is happy with his first season, despite failing to win a trophy.
Buck earlier revealed: "In the end we think it was a very successful season.
"I think obviously we would have been a little bit happier if we had won the FA Cup.
"But I'm sure the manager and the players were gutted not to lift the trophy."
And Buck continued by saying Lampard is the right man for the job - and his leadership means it's an "exciting time for Chelsea".
He added: "Frank Lampard is a very positive force for Chelsea.
"He's Chelsea through and through and that continues to show.
"He carries a lot of credibility.
"It's an exciting time for Chelsea."
