Bale's lavish lifestyle scrutinised in England

The English press are questioning the lifestyle of Gareth Bale, who despite not being in Zinedine Zidane's plans at Real Madrid is still earning a whopping 17 million euros per year after tax.

Bale has been a bit-part player this season and, particularly since football returned post-lockdown, he has looked to cause off-the-pitch problems with his actions in the stands and then asking not to travel to England for the Manchester City tie in the Champions League.

The Sun newspaper has carried out an extensive report that analyses both the possessions of the Welsh footballer and his way of life in Spain's capital with his wife, Emma Rhys-Jones.

According to the tabloid newspaper, Bale pays a staggering 11,140 euros per month to rent his luxurious house, designed by architect Joaquin Torres, which is based in the neighbourhood of Pozuelo de Alarcon and was once rented by Kaka.

The neighbourhood has also been home to other Galacticos in the past, such as Raul Gonzalez, Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Jese Rodriguez, Angel Di Maria, Sergio Ramos and Zidane.

Bale can also be seen cruising around Madrid in one of his six cars which he owns, and which have been sourced by Real Madrid.

This includes a Mercedes SLS AMG (74,800 euros), Bentley Continental GT (23,500 euros), Lamborghini Huracan (70,700 euros), Ferrari GTC4Lusso (104,300 euros) and an Audi Q7 50 TDI (29,400 euros).

Bale hasn't hidden the fact that he is a huge fan of golf and has even had three replica holes constructed in his garden.

He also can be found practicing his favourite hobby at Golf Santander, a course which was designed by the great Seve Ballesteros and is in Boadilla del Monte.

His holiday home is situated in Andalusia between the notorious Marbella and Sotogrande and is one of the most luxurious neighbourhoods in Spain.

"I can only say that Bale preferred not to play and the rest is between me and him," Zidane said prior to Real Madrid's second leg against Manchester City.

There is no doubt that Bale seems to be enjoying life in Spain, but unfortunately football doesn't appear to be a priority for the Welsh forward.

Could his time with the LaLiga Santander champions be almost over?
