Real Madrid consider recalling Ceballos

It had been thought that Dani Ceballos' Real Madrid career was over when he joined Arsenal on loan, yet Los Blancos are now considering whether or not to recall him.
Zinedine Zidane, as ever, will have the final say on the matter but with Martin Odegaard having already returned to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu from Real Sociedad a year early, it seems as if the Madrid club are looking to their own ranks instead of the market.
Elimination at the hands of Manchester City have changed things in the Spanish capital, with it obvious that the midfield needs strengthening this summer.
Zidane had previously ruled Ceballos out of his plans moving forward, but with Real Madrid facing a difficult economic situation as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the return of the Spanish midfielder could solve a problem.
The club wants Ceballos to return and complete a pre-season with Zidane and then a decision will be made, however the player himself has been comfortable in North London, where he has been a regular under Mikel Arteta and he played a significant role in Arsenal's FA Cup win.
