Bayern and Leverkusen set to battle for Norwich's Aarons
Max Aarons has drawn interest from Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen, reports Sky Sports.
The defender is set to become the subject of a €20m (£18.3m/$23.5 million) bid from Bayern as he looks set to leave relegated Norwich this summer.
Bayern are hoping to add a young backup for Benjamin Pavard, while Leverkusen are also interested in Aarons, who made 40 appearances in all competitions this season.
‘Holding isn’t good enough, Arsenal need a centre-half’
Stewart Robson says that Mikel Arteta must bring in a new central defender this summer as he added that current defender Rob Holding is not good enough to help the Gunners reach the next level.
Robson also took aim at David Luiz and Sead Kolasinac as he called for Arteta to rebuild the Arsenal backline.
PSG hoping to sell Gueye
PSG are hoping to sell Idrissa Gueye this summer, reports Le10Sport.
The club is in the process of finding offers for the midfielder, who could leave once PSG's Champions League run is finished.
Gueye joined PSG just one year ago, with PSG and Wolves among those interested in signing the former Everton star.
Chelsea make Pope their top keeper target
Burnley star Nick Pope is Chelsea's top target when it comes to landing another goalkeeper, claims the Daily Star.
The Blues have, however, been made aware that it could cost them as much as £50 million ($65m) to land the 28-year-old - who they see as a long-term replacement for Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Manchester City's Porro bound for Sporting
Pedro Porro is set to join Sporting CP on a two-year loan deal, reports Record.
The Portuguese side is close to sealing a deal for the Manchester City defender/winger, who spent this season on loan with Real Valladolid.
Porro originally joined Man City in August 2019 after breaking through with Girona.
Leverkusen offer Volland for Monaco defender
Bayer Leverkusen are prepared to offer Kevin Volland and €20 million (£18m/ $23.5m) for Monaco defender Benoit Badiashile, reports RMC Sport.
The German side has seen initial offers rebuffed, but remain hopeful that they can sweeten the deal by offering Volland as part of their proposal.
Badiashile has also been linked to the likes of Manchester United and Real Madrid.
Liverpool warned over Thiago move
Former Liverpool star John Barnes says that Thiago Alcantara may not be the best fit for the club amid ongoing rumours.
The Bayern Munich playmaker has been linked with the Reds in recent weeks, but Barnes says that adding Thiago may actually be harmful for the Liverpool midfield.
