The new salary cut that Barcelona demand from staff
Posted Tuesday, June 09, 2020 by Marca.com

After one of the more problematic fiscal episodes of the COVID-19 enforced break, Barcelona are preparing a new offer to cut the salary of their staff, and it seems inevitable that the club will have to maintain the 70 percent drop enforced in May.
Barcelona's playing staff are yet to agree to this latest offer from the club, despite having been sent the proposal in the last few weeks.
The details of the deal maintain the aforementioned 70 percent drop in salary, and a 50 percent drop for the first two weeks of June.
Javier Tebas' words on the salary structure in LaLiga Santander in which he said any agreements should be between players and clubs, sent alarm bells ringing throughout the Camp Nou, and there is even more pressure on Barcelona to get this measure sorted.
Los Cules had an astronomically wage bill to start with, and it was always going to be a challenge to find common ground, although Real Madrid were able to do so without going through the ERTE scheme.
