Tottenham Hotspur forward Son Heung-min has passed his military service in South Korea with flying colours.
Military service is obligatory in South Korea and can last up to two years, but Son won exemption from this longer spell after winning a gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games.
The 27-year-old took the chance to complete his short-term service during the coronavirus pandemic and fittingly excelled in shooting practice.
"He received the 'Pilsung' prize, which is one of five types of awards for best performers," a military officer told the Yonhap News Agency.
