Bakayoko returns to Chelsea after Monaco reject permanent option

Tiemoue Bakayoko is expected to return to Chelsea this summer.
Monaco have opted not to trigger their option to sign the France international on a permanent deal after his loan spell concludes, according to Goal.
The Ligue 1 season was officially cancelled on Tuesday, and Bakayoko will return to west London.
Chelsea inserted a €42.5m option to buy clause when Bakayoko joined the principality club on loan last summer.
Bakayoko previously spent time at AC Milan after a disappointing debut season at Stamford Bridge.
