The three clubs who want to beat Barcelona to sign Lautaro Martinez

In amongst the footballing break due to the COVID-19 pandemic, transfer speculation is still doing the rounds and leading the way is Lautaro Martinez.

On Friday, his agent Alberto Yaque revealed that clubs from Spain and England had reached out regarding the services of the striker.

"The truth is that we don't know, we are going off what the media say, they call me from Real Madrid, from Barcelona, from Chelsea and from Manchester City," Yaque told radio station Club Octubre 947.

"We only know the rumours, if there's anything between the clubs, we don't know about it."

He also revealed that Lautaro is taking the speculation calmly, despite his youth at the age of 22.

"[Lionel] Messi pays tribute to Lauti and we receive a thousand messages," Yaque confessed.

"He's good where he is, a thousand rumours can fly around and he acts like nothing is happening, he just wants to play and score goals, nothing else matters to him.

"Who wouldn't like to play with [Lionel] Messi?

"Talking about games that they played in the national team, he said it was a dream, imagine it, to play so young for Argentina and with Messi, but he doesn't talk about that much, he's a reserved boy.

"If we asked him where he'd want to play, he wouldn't tell us anything, he wouldn't lose his head about big clubs wanting him but there's nothing official today."

The agent also confirmed that negotiations with Inter over a renewal have not taken place.

"When we agreed his contract for five years, automatically they would call to renew," Yaque said.

"But with this whole pandemic, we haven't spoken about the contract again, we haven't had any more contact from Inter's people."

The striker's existing contract is set to run until 2023.
