Matt Taylor could freshen up his Exeter side for Salford showdown

Exeter boss Matt Taylor may be tempted to make changes for the visit of Salford in Sky Bet League Two on Saturday in order to halt their slump.
The Grecians have not won any of their last five games and suffered a 3-1 defeat at Walsall last weekend, with Nigel Atangana hauled off at half-time and replaced by Jake Taylor.
Manager Taylor remains without goalkeeper Jonny Maxted (intercostal muscle) and midfielder Jack Sparkes (knee), although both are progressing.
Defender Craig Woodman was hoping to play for the Under-23s in the week after recovering from a knee injury, but the fixture was postponed and he is lacking match fitness.
Salford may be forced to change the starting XI which defeated Bradford last time out.
Forward Tom Elliott sustained an injury to his arm in the first half and was substituted just after the break.
Adam Rooney replaced him and helped the Ammies make it back-to-back League Two wins, with Darron Gibson again influential.
The ex-Manchester United midfielder moved to the Peninsula Stadium at the beginning of February and has impressed after he recently forced his way into Graham Alexander’s team.
