Notts County boost play-off bid by beating leaders Barrow

Notts County bolstered their National League play-off hopes with a 2-0 victory at leaders Barrow.
With the hosts down to 10 men following Scott Quigley’s 62nd-minute red card, Tom Crawford and Callum Roberts struck.
After blasting two long-range efforts over the crossbar, John Rooney hit the post with a 15th-minute penalty and then repeated the trick with a 30-yard free-kick.
And just six minutes after Quigley was sent off for a late lunge, Barrow were punished as Crawford headed home the opener.
Roberts then produced a fine finish from a narrow angle to seal the points in the 70th minute.
