Substitute Nathan Tyson hit a hat-trick as Chesterfield boosted their survival hopes with a 4-0 win over fellow strugglers Ebbsfleet.
Tyson did not even enter the game until the 58th minute but he put the Spireites ahead after an hour when Tom Denton flicked a header into his path and he turned and rifled the ball into the top corner of the net.
Tyson doubled the advantage after 77 minutes, glancing home a header at the near post from David Buchanan’s corner.
He then completed his hat-trick six minutes later when he turned his marker on the halfway line and raced forward to plant an effort past David Gregory.
Curtis Weston then wrapped it up in the final minute when Smith’s cross from the right picked him out and he fired into the bottom corner.
