Beech hopes Carlisle players benefit from extra day off

Carlisle manager Chris Beech hopes his side will benefit from having an extra day off as they face Morecambe in Sky Bet League Two.
Beech made the decision after recent matches included a round trip of almost 700 miles for last weekend’s 0-0 draw at Crawley.
Midfielder Callum Guy and forward Joshua Kayode remain sidelined through injury.
Harry McKirdy is close to returning to action after being injured in a tackle against Swindon on February 8.
Morecambe manager Derek Adams has a near full-strength squad to choose from for the trip to Brunton Park.
A-Jay Leitch-Smith returned from an ankle injury to come off the bench and play the last 15 minutes of last week’s defeat at Grimsby.
The Shrimps’ only absentee is striker Rhys Oates, who remains on the sidelines.
Oates sustained a ligament tear in his knee during a Leasing.com Trophy fixture against Wolves Under-21s in October.
