Preston will again be without midfielder Tom Bayliss for Saturday’s visit of Hull, with the 20-year-old now expected to miss the rest of the season following ankle surgery.
Bayliss has been missing since the FA Cup defeat to Norwich at the start of January and this week has undergone an operation in a bid to solve the problem.
Darnell Fisher should be fit after missing last weekend’s 1-0 home defeat to Millwall with a minor hamstring problem.
Billy Bodin (Achilles) and Louis Moult (knee) remain sidelined.
Hull boss Grant McCann is ready to welcome another trio of players back as the club’s injury woes continue to ease.
Jordy De Wijs, Reece Burke and Jon Toral are all expected to make the squad after overcoming injury, a week after McCann welcomed back Matthew Pennington, Ryan Tafazolli and Kevin Stewart.
However, Martin Samuelsen (calf) and Keane Lewis-Potter (hamstring) remain sidelined, while Marcus Maddison is doubtful following illness.
Eric Lichaj and Herbie Kane remain long-term absentees.
